Valid point. In a way. But then the army without land movement cannot go any further. But, generally speaking, armies that can take advantage of this inequality are generally Sea-based specialist...

The original post is slightly incorrect - All armies will move at the fastest rate possible, so army C given the choice of 40 hours harbour move or 18 hr land move, will use the land move rate.

And what ever you do, don't miss the rule that mountains don't have habours unless they contain a friendly castle (or city in SR26).If you do forget it then it can considerably delay your progress....

That's one of the oldest tricks in the book. Choose a mountain island square for your citadel and then no one can land on it without a land movement. Especially in a game like SR26 where ships weigh...
