The original post is slightly incorrect - All armies will move at the fastest rate possible, so army C given the choice of 40 hours harbour move or 18 hr land move, will use the land move rate.

And what ever you do, don't miss the rule that mountains don't have habours unless they contain a friendly castle (or city in SR26).If you do forget it then it can considerably delay your progress....
